Effie graduated from University of Leeds with LL.B. Honours Degree in 1996. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1998.

Effie’s experience in real estate includes the sale and purchase and refinancing of HDB property, private property and commercial property. She also acts for CPF Board in the utilization of CPF monies in the purchase of residential properties as well as security documentation.
